From the athletics track to the most arduous peaks, the Fessura purple has dominated, demonstrating that our vision of energy, passion and resilience is more alive than ever.
Andrea Tamiazzo's achievement at the Marathon Des Sables
Andrea Tamiazzo completed the Marathon des Sables, one of the most extreme ultramarathons in the world, covering 270 km in self-sufficiency in the Sahara desert. This achievement represents not only a sporting result but a concrete sign of the direction Fessura has taken, increasingly focused on pushing the boundaries of traditional running.

The SVC-J, a shoe designed for ultra-distances and extreme conditions, is currently under development. After initial tests in the mountains, the prototype was also put to the test in the desert with Andrea, facing one of the most challenging environments possible.
Specific solutions were integrated for this experience, such as the anti-sand gaiter and UV protection systems. The shoe showed an effective response, maintaining responsiveness and comfort even over long distances, thanks to Slot Technology.
The test in the Sahara became a concrete proving ground not only for the footwear but also for the development of technical clothing tailored for extreme conditions. This is a fundamental step for the future evolution of Fessura products, confirming the brand's ability to adapt and perform even in the most hostile environments.
Fessura Trail Team's dominance between Italy and Croatia
At the Alpe della Luna, we witnessed a display of pure endurance. Alessio Donati delivered a true champion's performance, securing 1st place overall in the 52 km race (3300 D+): a victory that confirms his talent and extraordinary ability to handle long distances with intelligence and strength.

In the same competition, Patrizio Bartolini showed extraordinary resilience, finishing with an excellent 3rd place overall. Over the shorter distance of 27 km (1500 D+), Mario Maresca achieved a solid 5th place, confirming the team's cohesion across all distances.

In Umbria, at the Gubbio Trail, Mirko Fioretti delivered a monumental display of strength, earning a fantastic 2nd place overall in the 50 km (2500 D+).

Luca Cesarini brought the team another overall victory, stepping onto the top of the podium at the Ferentillo Trail 20 km, (1100 D+).

The echo of our successes reached Croatia, where Caterina Corti participated in the Istria by UTMB. In one of the most prestigious ultra-trail races in the world, Caterina showed incredible resilience, finishing with an excellent 14th place in her gender category in the grueling 110 km (4074 D+) race. A result that rewards her consistency and her desire to challenge increasingly ambitious goals.

These results are not just personal achievements, but represent field proof that the new GSR Team is the ultimate ally for the most extreme competitions. Designed to support and enhance athlete performance, the GSR proves to be a reliable and versatile shoe. Whether facing the most technical terrains of Alpe della Luna or the variable conditions of Istria, this footwear dominates mud and rocks with superior grip, offering the perfect blend of comfort and performance for every kilometer of the course.
Stefano Massimi's triumph on the track
On Saturday, Fessura made its debut on the track. At the Regional 10,000m Championships, Stefano Massimi displayed fierce determination, achieving a monumental 1st Place Overall in 29' 43".
In an interregional race that brought together Marche, Umbria, and Abruzzo, Stefano dominated the challenge with a time that speaks of sacrifice, effort, and crystal-clear talent. It wasn't just a race, but a demonstration of extraordinary tenacity: proof that when mind and body align, no limit is insurmountable.
A season that continues to leave its mark
Today, our athletes run across Italy and beyond, turning the Fessura vision into something concrete. It's not just performance, but a movement that grows race after race, fueled by passion, method, and sharing.
The past weekend doesn't just tell of individual results, but of a real project taking shape on the field. Effort, strategy, and determination become elements of a common identity, uniting athletes and product on a single path.
Our gaze is already forward, towards the next goals. The team and Fessura continue to evolve, bringing their idea of performance to every terrain. Because every race is not a destination, but a transition. And every step helps to define the direction.
